Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP)
If you're interested in becoming an Army Officer, Army ROTC may be the right choice for you. The Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) enables you to attend Army ROTC and serve in the Army Reserve or National Gaurd at the same time. Cadets serve as Officer trainees in the Army Reserve or National Gaurd during their junior and senior year while completing college and earn Reserve pay (up to $400 per month) and benefits in addition to Army ROTC allowances.
Who is Eligible?

You'll be under 33 on June 30 of the year you expect to graduate. ( Qualifying veterans may be granted an age extension of up to four years.)

Able and willing to serve in the Army National Gaurd or Army Reserve while taking college courses.
